MyEasyFarm Launches AI Agriculture Project with Cristal Union and URCA

MyEasyFarm, in collaboration with the Cristal Union cooperative and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA), announces the launch of MyEasyAI, an ambitious artificial intelligence project designed to support data-driven decision-making across the sugar beet value chain.

With a total budget of €1.6 million, the large-scale initiative is supported by the Grand Est Region and the European Union. The project aims to develop an intelligent decision-support system tailored specifically to the needs of the beet industry, combining agronomic expertise, cooperative know-how, and advanced AI technologies.

A Strategic AI Tool for Sustainable Agriculture

MyEasyAI seeks to provide farmers and industry stakeholders with predictive and analytical tools to optimize crop management, improve yields, and enhance environmental performance. By leveraging agronomic data, climate insights, and field-level information, the platform will help anticipate risks, refine input usage, and support more sustainable farming practices.

The collaboration brings together complementary expertise:

  • MyEasyFarm, a specialist in digital agricultural solutions;

  • Cristal Union, a leading agricultural cooperative in the sugar sector;

  • URCA, contributing academic research and advanced data science capabilities.

Driving Innovation in the Beet Sector

As agriculture faces increasing pressure from climate variability, regulatory changes, and economic uncertainty, digital innovation plays a crucial role in maintaining competitiveness and resilience. MyEasyAI is designed to respond to these challenges by offering actionable insights and real-time recommendations tailored to beet growers’ operational realities.

The project also aims to strengthen regional innovation capacity in the Grand Est region, reinforcing collaboration between agribusiness, research institutions, and technology providers.

Looking Ahead

Through MyEasyAI, the partners intend to set a new benchmark for AI-powered agricultural decision support in Europe. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing sustainable, high-performance farming while accelerating the digital transformation of the agri-food sector.

Further updates on the development and deployment phases of MyEasyAI will be shared in the coming months.
