Visitors can experience developments first hand, including the latest machinery in operation, a broad range of crop varieties, advanced technologies and forward‑looking cultivation strategies. The FarmRobotix exhibition area, now in its second edition, will additionally give interested visitors a closer look at current developments in robotics, automation and AI in crop production, including companies such as Digital Workbench, Combined Powers (a Krone and Lemken development), AgXeed and Escarda.
In addition to exchanges with practitioners and experts, the FarmRobotix platform features a dedicated demonstration area for autonomous crop‑production solutions as well as a stage programme and guided tours:
Expert presentations: Daily live presentations on the DLG Expert Stage provide insights into current research, practical experience and regulatory aspects of robotics and AI. Manufacturers will present their solutions and offer opportunities for direct exchange.
Demo areas: On demonstration plots, visitors can experience robotic technology live in action – from autonomous carrier vehicles to AI‑controlled weed management. The exhibition area will also showcase digital solutions, sensors and advanced robotic technologies.
Field Robot Event 2026
The International Field Robot Event (FRE), initiated by Wageningen University in 2003, will once again take place at the DLG Feldtage. This annual competition, held at alternating venues and with varying organising partners, brings together student teams from around the world to compete with their field robots as they perform complex in‑field tasks. The aim of the competition is to test pioneering technologies in robotics and precision farming, while enabling young researchers to exchange ideas, build networks and further develop their concepts in an international environment.
FarmRobotix premiered at the last DLG Feldtage in 2024. Since then, visitors have also been able to experience FarmRobotix at EuroTier 2024 and Agritechnica 2025. DLG, organiser of all three exhibitions, created this international platform for farmers, manufacturers, start‑ups and technology providers interested in the latest developments in robotics, AI, automation and digital solutions in crop production.
As a non‑profit organisation, the remit of DLG is to advance knowledge and practical progress in agriculture. FarmRobotix — together with the International DLG Crop Production Centre, where the DLG Feldtage is being held this year — plays a central role in this mission by demonstrating available technologies under real‑world conditions and supporting farmers in making informed, future‑oriented investment decisions.
